Facebook, Google, Twitter forced to do the Nazi bid (Germany’s censorship laws are here)

Germany is back. It wants to shut down and repress. Whom? Its own people. That’s safe. If you shut down foreigners, that’s too much bad rep.

Meet the German Minister of Justice Heiko Maas. He is my age. He thinks it is necessary to end freedom of speech in Germany to protect his corrupt, genocidal regime.

To that end, he must extort US companies to do the Nazi bid for him. Nazi bid, because the sole reason for Nazi existence was ruthless censorship and crackdown.

“Once they succeeded in ending democracy and turning Germany into a one-party dictatorship, the Nazis orchestrated a massive propaganda campaign to win the loyalty and cooperation of Germans. The Nazi Propaganda Ministry, directed by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, took control of all forms of communication […]. Viewpoints in any way threatening to Nazi beliefs or to the regime were censored or eliminated from all media.” -‘Nazi Propaganda and Censorship’, The Holocaust Encyclopedia

Heiko Maas (r.) uncanny resemblance to Joseph Goebbels (l.) and also his looks.

Germany has no own social media networks. Maas needs the Americans to censor the German internet for him. That should be easy, Maas thinks, because Germany since WW2 is a de facto US colony. And you want a local dictatorship running your colony with iron fist, don’t you?

Hate speech, hateful comments, fake news… are all punishable in Germany. Offending politicians, severely so. A new law, the Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz, was swiftly passed and will translate this summer. So fast, because re-election of Merkel is in September, and because opposing this is hate speech. If US companies don’t delete hate speech and report it to the authorities within 24 hours, fines will be in place of up to 50 million euros to remind them that their support for hate is futile.

“In October 1933, Hitler’s government passed an ‘editorial law’, signed by Joseph Goebbels, enabling Nazi censorship of press and publications: ‘Involvement in the shaping of the intellectual contents of the newspapers or political periodicals published in the Reich […] is a public function, regulated by the state through this law.'” -‘Nazi Germany’, Alpha History

So, naturally I talk to Germans back in Germany how they feel about their own crackdown. And would you believe it, most think it is right of the regime to shut down right-wing extremists and Nazis.

It is insane, but from inside the insane asylum it makes a lot of sense: To think that Facebook, Google, and Twitter are collaborators of right-wing extremists and Nazis.
